Located at 4001 Gault Pl NE in Washington, DC, “A Community. A Family.” is a public art mural that’s meant to inspire and remind people of how importance of cultivating family and togetherness within one’s community.
Project Highlights
Concept
The mural is meant to serve as a reminder to the community of the important of uplifting one another and caring for one another as family
Design
We used vibrant colors in the design and abstract representations of people to make the piece inclusive for the entire community
Medium
We used aerosol exclusively to paint this mural
Community Outreach
We got approval from the local ANC to create the piece and invited the entire community out to celebrate the completion of the mural once it was complete
