Located at Cardozo high school in Washington, DC, ” we were commissioned to create a mural featuring the people who provided the inspiration for the school’s new education initiatives. The mural features Katherine Johnson, Chadwick Boseman, Muhammad Ali, Jose Andres, and Sonia Sotomayor.
Project Highlights
Concept
We worked with Cardozo high school leadership and its students to conceptualize the mural.
Design
We designed a mural that featured five iconic figures of Cardozo's choosing and created a composition that highlighted quotes from each figure.
Fabrication
We completed the mural over the course of 3 weeks.
Mural Unveiling
We unveiled the mural during the opening of the first day of school.
