Ward 7 Speaks is a creative placemaking project commissioned by CNHED and DMPED. The goal of the project was to create engaging interactive and equity experiences. We used art as a gateway to promote community purpose address community issues.

Project Highlights
Community Engagement
We conducted three rounds of virtual information sessions to get feedback from members of the community. In addition to this we conducted online surveys with the community to provided gift cards in return for completed surveys
Concept
We conceptualized mural installations for three locations as way to deter crime and encourage people to take better care of the neighborhood
Data Visualization
We designed and built a website that provided data visualization of input from members in the community
Multidisciplinary
The project consisted three murals, signage, and ground vinyls. We used projection mapping on the mural during the dedication
